5. If the defender withstands the attack by countering every card, all those cards go to the discard pile. If not, the defender collects all cards used in the attack, and the turn passes.
6. At the end of each round, players each draw from the prikup to restore their hand to six cards, if possible.
7. Players leave the game as soon as they run out of cards. The last player still holding cards is declared the “durak.”
